It is considered the purest, that is why Rabdi is also used in offering to God. You can eat Rabdi even during fasting. Market-like rabri can be prepared easily at home. For this you do not even need to work hard. You can prepare Rabdi in just half an hour and offer your favorite Rabdi to Lord Ram. Know the recipe for making Rabdi.

How to prepare Rabdi for offering to Lord Ram at home (Rabdi Recipe in Hindi)

  1. To make rabri like confectionary, take 1 liter milk. You can take cow, buffalo or full cream packet milk.

  2. If the milk is thick then the rabri is better and the quantity is also more.

  3. For offering to God, you can use cow’s milk, which is considered pure.

  4. First of all, take a heavy pan and keep the milk in it to boil.

  5. When the milk starts boiling, reduce the flame a bit and keep mixing the cream coming on the side with the milk with a ladle.

  6. You have to cook the milk in this manner until it thickens and when the milk reduces to about 1/3 then add sugar.

  7. If you have taken 1 liter milk then you can mix 250 grams of sugar in it. If you want less sweet rabri then 200 grams of sugar is enough.

  8. If you want to brew rabri quickly, then add some cashew nuts and fine almond powder to it.

  9. This will thicken the rabri quickly. Along with this, add 4-5 cardamom powder to the rabri.

  10. Be careful not to make the rabri too thick, as it becomes thicker after it cools down.

  11. In this way, completely waxed rabri will be prepared, which is tastier than the market one.

  12. You can offer this rabri to Lord Ram. It can be eaten even during fasting.

Kathiawadi Thabadi Peda in Gujarat is more famous than Mathura, it is made without ghee, mawa and syrup.
