We feel like eating something healthy and light in breakfast. For this, oats are a very healthy option. However, some people do not like the taste of oats. In such a situation, you can prepare many types of delicious dishes from oats. Today we are telling you how to make delicious idli from plain oats. You can eat oats idli in the morning breakfast or as a snack. The special thing is that even if you eat this healthy breakfast to your stomach, your weight will start decreasing. Let’s know how to make oats idli and what all goes into it. What is the recipe of oats idli?

Oats Idli Recipe:

step 1- Take half a cup of oats and mix half a cup of gram flour or semolina in it. Now prepare the batter with the help of water and curd. Leave the batter to set for 15 minutes.

Step 2- Although oats are healthy in themselves, it can be made even more healthy and tasty with the help of some vegetables. You can add carrots, capsicum, beans, green chillies, ginger and any other vegetable to the idli.

Step 3- Now add salt to it as per taste and if the batter seems thick then add water little by little. You do not have to make a very thick batter. Now apply some ghee in the idli maker and grease it.

Step 4- Pour 1-2 spoons of the batter into an idli mould and fill all the moulds in the same way and keep the idlis ready. Oats idli gets ready in the same time that you take to cook rice idli.

Step 5- Check with the help of a knife whether the idli is cooked properly or not. Insert the knife into the idli and if the knife comes out completely clean then understand that the idli is ready. Serve them with your favorite chutney.

Step 6- If you want, you can also add some tadka to the oats idli. Pour the same tadka which contains mustard seeds, curry leaves and whole red chillies on the idli as well. This will make the idli even more delicious.
