Therefore, we are telling you such a trick by which your Vada will become completely puffed and soft.
Recipe for making Dahi Vada:
-
step 1- Dahi vada made from urad dal tastes very delicious. For this, wash about 1 cup of urad dal and soak it in water overnight or for 4-5 hours.
-
Step 2-Now drain all the water from the lentils and wash them with clean water. Put the lentils in the mixer and grind them finely. To make Dahi Vada, the lentils have to be ground a little thick. You can add 2-3 spoons of water.
-
Step 3-Take out the ground lentils in a deep bowl and keep beating it continuously with the help of a spoon or a beater. Beat the lentils until they start floating on the water.
-
Step 4-For this, check the lentils. Take water in a bowl and put a drop of lentil paste in it and see. If the lentils start floating on the water, then understand that the whipping is over. If it settles down in the water, then you will have to whip it more.
-
Step 5-Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, salt and chopped green chillies to the beaten lentils. Now apply water on your hands and take about 1 tablespoon of lentils. Now flatten it a little with the help of fingers of both hands, make it round and put it in the oil.
-
Step 6-Bake the vada till it turns golden and then immediately put it in water. This will make the vada very soft and all the oil will also drain out in the water. When it becomes soft, take the vada out of the water and serve it by adding curd, sweet tamarind chutney and green chutney.
