- 1 cup moong dal
- half liter milk
- 4 cups water
- Sugar
- 5 to 6 cardamoms

Method of making moong dal
To make instant moong dal halwa, first prepare the syrup. Pour 4 cups of water in a pot and add half a liter of milk in it. Now grind 5 to 6 cardamoms and add them to this water. When the syrup comes to a boil, take it off the gas. Now fry the moong dal in a pan until it turns light brown. When the moong turns light golden, put it in a grinder jar and grind it coarsely. Now take out this moong powder in a plate. Now place the pan and add half cup of desi ghee in it. When the ghee becomes hot, add ground moong dal to it and keep stirring it continuously with a ladle until it becomes light golden. When it turns golden, add the syrup you have made from milk and sugar. Now keep stirring it well until it is cooked. When the syrup dries well in the halwa, then turn off the gas. Your instant moong dal halwa is ready.
