If you also feel like eating this street food, then let us tell you that it is very easy to make. Come, let us know the easy method of making Vada Pav.

Ingredients to make Vada:

Pav – 8, 5-6 boiled potatoes, 2 green chillies, 2 tsp grated ginger, curry leaves, 1 tsp mustard, 1/2 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp roasted coriander, chopped coriander leaves, salt as per taste.

Ingredients for making batter

Gram flour – 3 cups, turmeric – 1 tsp, baking soda – 1 tsp, oil – for frying, salt – a pinch

Method to make Vada Pav:

  • First step: To make Vada, first boil the potatoes and then peel them and mash them. Now turn on the gas, add 2 spoons of oil in a pan and temper the mustard seeds, add chopped green chillies and curry leaves and temper it. After frying for some time, add mashed potatoes to the pan. After frying the mixture, add salt and green coriander as per taste. Now cook them for some time and then turn off the gas.

  • Second step: Now put gram flour in another vessel and add a pinch of salt and prepare a medium thickness batter by adding water little by little. Now add soda to the solution and mix it well.

  • Third step: Now, prepare small balls of potato stuffing. Dip the balls in gram flour batter and put them in the pan to fry. When the vadas become golden brown, take them out from the pan. Now apply garlic chutney on one loaf and place a hot vada in the middle. It can be served with fried green chillies.
