How to make potato pickle?

If you are also fond of eating different types of pickles, then you should try making potato pickle at home once. Everyone must have eaten potato curry but not many people would know about potato pickle. If you are also bored of eating mango, green chilli and lemon pickle, then after trying this tasty recipe, your heart will be happy. Let’s know about the method of making potato pickle.

  • First step- First of all, heat 3-4 spoons of mustard oil in a pan and then add a pinch of asafoetida, one spoon of cumin seeds, half a spoon of mustard seeds in it.

  • Second step- Now add one finely chopped onion and 2 finely chopped green chillies in the pan and fry till golden.

  • Third step- After this, add one inch grated ginger, half spoon red chili powder, one-fourth spoon turmeric powder, one spoon coriander powder and half spoon garam masala and mix it well.

  • Fourth step- Now peel 500 grams of boiled potatoes and mix them in the pan. For spiciness, add 2 big spoons of lemon juice and salt to it.

  • Fifth step- Cook this mixture on low flame for 2 minutes and then turn off the gas and leave the pickle to cool.

You can store this pickle in any airtight container. From plain roti to stuffed paratha, you can enjoy the taste of this pickle with any food item.
