Malpua is a very famous dish which is loved not only in India but also abroad. You can also serve Malpua as a dessert after dinner. It is served as a dessert. Although Malpua is mainly a Rajasthani dish, but now it is popular all over India. People who come here to visit from abroad also like Malpua and they also eat it with great relish and gusto. In Rajasthan, Malpua is made on every small occasion and festival or you can say that the people there just need an excuse to eat it. It definitely takes some hard work to make Malpua but if you use the method suggested by us then it will not take much time. Although Malpuas are available everywhere in the market, the fun of making Malpuas with your own hands is something else.

Ingredients for making Malpua

  1. 250 grams mawa
  2. 150 grams flour
  3. 2 tbsp semolina
  4. 100 grams sugar
  5. 4 tsp desi ghee

Method of making Malpua-

To make Malpua, first take 250 grams of mawa and 150 grams of flour in a vessel. Now add 2 tablespoons semolina to it. Now mix them well. Now we will grind this mixture. To grind, add half a cup of milk or half a cup of water to it. Grind it and make a very smooth paste. Now mix fennel, pistachio and cardamom in this paste and keep this paste covered for 15 minutes. Now we will prepare the syrup. To make one string syrup, take half a liter of water in a pan and keep it on high flame. To make the syrup tasty, mix 100 grams of sugar, saffron and cardamom. When the syrup thickens, turn off the gas.

Now we will mix the Malpua paste well once again. Now turn on the gas and add ghee into it. Now take a ladleful of paste and put it in hot ghee. Now cook Malpua on low flame from both the sides. When Malpua becomes light golden on both sides, remove it from the pan. Now dip the Malpua in syrup and take it out on a plate. Your Malpua is ready to eat.
