Ingredients for Sannata Raita: Sannata Raita Ingredients:

1 cup sour curd, half cup boondi, salt according to taste, half teaspoon chili powder, 1 teaspoon roasted cumin powder, half teaspoon mint powder, finely chopped green coriander, half teaspoon cumin, half teaspoon asafoetida, 2 teaspoon mustard oil

Know How To Make Sannata Raita Recipe:

  • Step 1: First of all, put curd in a large bowl and beat it well till it gets a creamy texture. Now add some ice cubes to the curd and beat it well once again.

  • Step 2: Now add half a teaspoon of chili powder, 1 teaspoon of roasted cumin powder, half a teaspoon of mint powder and salt as per taste to the curd. Mix all these ingredients well in the curd. Now add 1 cup of water to it and whisk again.

  • Third Step: Put 2 teaspoons of mustard oil in a small earthen lamp. When the oil becomes hot, add half a teaspoon of cumin seeds, half a teaspoon of asafoetida in it. When it becomes light golden, add the tadka to the curd and after that pour the raita in the lamp and then cover the vessel. Leave it like this for 20 minutes.

  • Fourth Step: Take out the diya after the stipulated time. Now add boondi to the raita and mix well. Add finely chopped coriander over the Sannata Raita. This will give a fresh touch to the raita.
