‘Amrit Lassi’, available here in Bilaspur, will make body and mind cool..cool in summer!

Saurabh Tiwari / Bilaspur, Bilaspur city of Chhattisgarh has more than one cuisine and dish. There is a shop named Jain Lassi on Telipara road of Gol Bazar here. There is no staff here, no frills of any kind. The decoration here is also nothing special, but the line that appears at their cart is enough to tell that how good the lassi is available here.

This cart is being set up here for many years and for the same number of years people come here to drink lassi. Whether it is the scorching sun and heat or the rainy season, the crowd of people does not decrease at Jain Lassi. There is a line of people to drink lassi here. The reason for the huge crowd is the special lassi available here.

The owner of the shop, Raju Jain, says that he makes fresh lassi without any adulteration. To make it tastier, they add coconut flakes and katri to it. They give a glass of lassi for only 20 rupees. This is cheap and best. The people who come here like it. Also, it gives them relief in summer. When the heat increases, the consumption of lassi increases daily.
