Amul Milk Price Hike: Amul gave a big blow, increased the price of milk by ₹ 2, now the prices have reached this much

New Delhi. As soon as the new financial year starts, the common man has been hit by inflation. Amul has given a big blow to its customers. Buying Amul Milk will now become expensive. In fact, the Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), which sells milk products under the Amul brand, on Saturday announced an increase in milk prices by Rs 2 per liter in the state.

GCMMF sources said that the prices of Amul milk have increased since Saturday in the entire state including Saurashtra, Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. Sources said that a 500 ml pack of Amul Gold will now be available at Rs 32, Amul Standard at Rs 29 per 500 ml, Amul Fresh at Rs 26 per 500 ml and Amul Tea-Special at Rs 30 per 500 ml.

For the first time after the assembly elections held in Gujarat in December, the prices of Amul milk have been increased. GCMMF had earlier increased the price of milk by Rs 2 per liter in August last year.

However, on February 3, the GCMMF had increased the prices of milk by Rs 2 per liter in the rest of the country except Gujarat.
