The nine planets in astrology are Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu. Method of wearing Navagraha Ratna or Uparatna
If there is any planetary defect in your horoscope or the planet is giving adverse effects, then in that case its gemstone or sub-stone should be worn. The gem or sub-gem related to that planet is made in a ring made of auspicious metal and worn. The planet whose gemstone is to be worn should be worn on its auspicious day after inviting it in an auspicious time.
For example, if you want to wear Sun’s stone or sub-stone, then wear it on Sunday. Worship the Sun God by wearing it. Purify the gem or sub-gem by washing it with the water of the Ganges. Then worship with flowers, Akshat and incense. Chant the Beej Mantra of the Sun. After that wear it. Keep in mind that the stone should touch your finger, only then it will be beneficial.
