Ingredients for Besan Onion Cheela
Besan – 1 bowl
Onion – 1
Green chili – 2
Ajwain – 1 tsp
Red chili – 1 tsp
Curry leaves – 8-10
Oil – as required
Salt – as per taste

How to make Besan Onion Cheela
To make Besan and Onion Cheela, first take a mixing bowl and put gram flour in it. Now finely chop the onion and green chilies and add them to the gram flour and mix them well. Now add red chili powder, carom seeds and salt to taste and mix them all. Lastly, by adding curry leaves, prepare a solution by adding water little by little.

Now take a nonstick pan/tawa and keep it to heat on medium flame. When the griddle becomes hot, pour some oil on it and spread it all around. Now take gram flour mixture in a bowl and spread it in a circular motion while putting it in the middle of the pan. Let the cheela cook like this for some time and then turn it over. Now roast the other side of the cheela with oil as well. Fry the cheela over and over until it becomes golden in color. After this take out the cheela in a plate.
Your delicious Besan Onion Cheela is ready. Similarly prepare cheela from all the batter. Serve it in breakfast with tomato sauce or green chutney. If you want, you can also make besan cheela without adding onions.
