BSNL’s network connectivity will be better, 25,000 mobile towers will be installed in the country

New Delhi. The Government of India is soon preparing to install 25000 telecom towers i.e. mobile towers in the coming 2 years. Communication Minister Ashwini Vaishnav has said this recently. He also said that the government has sanctioned Rs 36,000 crore for the installation of new towers. The Union Minister has said this while addressing the meeting of IT Ministers of the states. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has recently launched 5G service. After this this was the first meeting of Vaishnav.
In this meeting held recently, IT ministers of almost all the states have expressed concern about connectivity in the state, describing it as a challenge. Ashwini Vaishnav said about this, ‘As far as connectivity is concerned, states will have to do heavy lifting to improve connectivity in the states.’ The meeting of all the ministers of state with Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav was taking place on the sidelines of the 6th Indian Mobile Congress in Delhi.

BSNL service will be better
The Union Minister assured that by re-establishing Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), the connectivity problem will be solved to a great extent. “We have Rs 1.64 lakh crore for the revival of BSNL which is sufficient to meet their capital investment requirement and technology upgradation requirement,” he said. The Minister praised all the State Governments for joining the PM Gati Shakti Master Plan in a matter of 8 months and said that the results of working together are getting better.

Soon 5G service will be available in many cities
The Union Minister had earlier announced that in the next 6 months, more than 200 cities of the country will start getting 5G service. He made this announcement soon after the India Mobile Congress. Earlier, the Prime Minister officially launched 5G in India. On the other hand, companies like Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea have not yet announced the availability dates of 5G service. Airtel and Jio have said that their 5G service will reach their users soon.
