Farmers also have high hopes from this budget.
Farmers hope that the support they get from the government will increase further. The central government gives 6 thousand rupees to the farmers every year in the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. It is expected that Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman can increase it to 8 thousand rupees annually.

Budget session is starting from 31 January
Significantly, this time the budget session of Parliament will start from January 31, 2023, on which day President Draupadi Murmu will address the joint sitting of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi had given this information recently. Joshi had told that there will be 27 meetings in the session and it will run till 6 April. The first phase of the session will be from January 31 to February 14. After a break of about a month, the second phase of the budget session will start from March 12 and will continue till April 6.
