Today, the auspicious time for installation of Kalash is from 06.23 am to 07.32 am. There is also an auspicious time for profit and progress in this time. Profit-Progress Muhurta is from 06:23 am to 07:55 am. Today’s Amrit-Sarvottam Muhurta is from 07:55 am to 09:26 am.

Kalash installation worship material
An earthen pot, new red chunri, idol or picture of Maa Durga, red colored Mata Chowki, green mango leaves, Akshat, Gangajal, Rakshasutra, sandalwood, roli, honey, a yellow cloth, a Kush seat , red vermilion, makeup material, hibiscus, garland of flowers, coconut, dry coconut, cloves, cardamom, betel leaf, betel nut, cow’s ghee, incense, incense sticks, camphor, lamp, cotton for wicks, naivedya, guggal, Frankincense, barley, five fruits, fruits, sweets, matchbox, queen’s flag etc.

Chaitra Navratri 2023 Kalash installation and worship method
First of all, keep some soil in an earthen pot in the east or north direction at the place of worship. Sow barley in it and then put water in it for moisture. Now wrap the Rakshasutra on the Kalash. Then do Tilak with Roli. Decorate it with garland. Then put Gangajal, Akshat, flowers, durva, supari, coin in it and fill it with water. Place mango leaves in it and cover it with an earthen pot.

After this, fill akshat in an earthen plate and wrap Rakshasutra on a dry coconut. Now establish the Kalash in the north or east direction at the place of worship. Place an intact earthen pot on the Kalash and place a coconut with Rakshasutra on it. Keep the sown barley near it. Keep giving water to barley throughout Navratri so that it remains green.

After establishing the Kalash, first of all worship Gauri and Ganesh ji. Then worship other gods and goddesses. After that invoke Maa Durga and worship her methodically. Mother Shailputri, the first form of Navadurga, is worshiped on the first day of Navratri.
