Along with giving stoppages at Vapi station from 26 October, the ministry has also changed the timing of the train.

New Delhi. The Railway Ministry has changed the stoppages of the semi-high speed Vande Bharat Express train running between Mumbai and Gujarat’s capital Gandhinagar. The Mumbai-Gandhinagar Vande Bharat Express has been given a stoppage at Vapi. The ministry said in a statement that along with providing stoppages at Vapi station from October 26, 2022, the timing of the train will also be changed.
Giving information through a tweet, Western Railway informed that Ministry of Railways has decided to provide stoppages of Vande Bharat Train No. 20901/20901 Mumbai Central – Gandhinagar Rajdhani – Mumbai Central with change of timings at Vapi station with effect from 26 October 2022. Is.
This will be the new time table
According to the new time table, Mumbai-Gandhinagar Vande Bharat Express will leave Mumbai Central at 6.10 am and reach Gandhinagar Capital at 12.25 am. This train will now stop for two minutes at the new stoppage of Vapi station. Vande Bharat Express train will reach Vapi station at 8.04 hrs and will leave after stopping for two minutes. This train will reach Surat station at 9 o’clock where it has a stoppage of three minutes. Further, this train will reach Vadodara Junction at 10.13 hrs and will leave at 10.16 hrs. At the same time, according to the new time table, the train will reach Mumbai Central at 20.15.

Now the train will take less time than before
In a recent release, Western Railway said that Vande Bharat Super Fast Express will cover the distance of Mumbai Central to Gandhinagar in less than 5 minutes. While going from Gandhinagar to Mumbai, Vande Bharat Express will reach Mumbai Central 20 minutes earlier.

The Mumbai Central-Gandhinagar Capital Vande Bharat Express train is the third train in the series of Vande Bharat trains operating in the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had flagged off the Mumbai Central-Gandhinagar Capital Vande Bharat Express train on 30 September in Gandhinagar. After this, the commercial operation of this superfast train was started from October 1. It connects the capitals of Maharashtra and Gujarat as well as two important trading centres. The first train of this series was started between New Delhi and Varanasi, while the second train was started between New Delhi to Mata Vaishno Devi, Katra.
