According to a report by Moneycontrol, tickets for flights going to Bihar are getting very expensive due to Chhath. The airfare from Delhi to Darbhanga today i.e. 28 October has reached Rs 17,500. The highest fare hike has happened on the Delhi-Darbhanga route. According to the report of MakeMyTrip.com, today’s cheapest fare from New Delhi to Darbhanga is Rs 17,500. At the same time, in November, the same ticket is available from Rs 4,353 to Rs 6,500. The fare from New Delhi to Darbhanga on October 29 has been Rs 17,431.

  Indian Railways has announced to run 256 special trains from various stations of Central Railway in Maharashtra to other parts of the country on Diwali and Chhath Puja. Central Railway spokesperson informed news agency ANI about this. Central Railway has also increased the ticket prices to control the crowd at the railway stations of the state. CPRO of Central Railway told ANI, “In order to control the crowd, the price of platform ticket at CSMT, Dadar, Kalyan, Panvel stations has been reduced to ₹50 and in Pune to ₹30.”
