Actually, the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) says that the journey from Delhi Airport to Chandigarh can now be covered in just 2 hours.

Let us tell you that a special route has been prepared to reduce the travel time. Through this route you will reach Chandigarh from Delhi passing through 5 expressways. However, this will reduce the distance between the two cities by only 20 kms. Let’s know about this route.

Will reach soon by this route
According to a senior NHAI official, after leaving Delhi airport, you will have to reach KMP Expressway in Bahadurgarh via Shahri Vistar Road via Dwarka Expressway. During this you will have to travel 40 kms. After this, after walking on KMP Expressway for about 10 kilometers, you will have to go to Delhi-Katra Expressway. Here you will have to go from Ambala to Chandigarh by Trans-Haryana Expressway after walking for about 80 kms.

The distance from Delhi to Amritsar and Katra will also be reduced.
Through this route, not only Delhi and Chandigarh, but the distance from Delhi to cities like Amritsar and Katra will also be reduced. According to the NHAI official, passengers will be informed about this route through signboards as soon as they leave the Delhi airport. This will reduce the travel time between Delhi and Amritsar to 4 hours. At the same time, the distance between Delhi and Katra will also be reduced from the first 14 hours to just 6 hours.

Reduction in travel time will reduce congestion
The time taken to travel through this expressway will be less, as well as there will be reduction in traffic problem and congestion on the roads connecting big cities. After the construction of this expressway, apart from Haryana, connectivity with other states like Punjab, Rajasthan, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh will also improve. Please tell that on this expressway you will be allowed to drive at a maximum speed of 120 kilometers per hour.
