DigiYatra App Beta Version Released, Will Get Rid Of Long Check-In Lines At Delhi Airport

New Delhi. If you want to check-in early at Terminal-3 of Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi, then now Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) has started a new facility for the passengers. Actually, Dial on Monday (August 15, 2022) launched the beta version of the DigiYatra app on the Android platform. With this, passengers will be able to ‘check-in’ at Terminal-3 of Indira Gandhi International Airport soon.

Entry through Facial Recognition Technology
It is going to be a biometric enabled seamless travel experience for the passengers. Under the DigiYatra projects, passengers can cross various checking points at the airport through a paperless and contactless process. For this, they will have to use the ‘facial feature’ to prove their identity, which will be linked to the boarding pass.

No need to carry identity card and boarding pass
According to the airport management, once this service starts, passengers will not need to carry their identity card and boarding pass. Earlier, the passenger had to go through various sections for checking as well as providing all kinds of information to establish the identity associated with his boarding pass, now he will be able to avoid all those things and quick check-in using the Digiyatra app Will be able to

DIAL said in a statement, “DIAL has set up the necessary facility at Terminal-3 of Delhi Airport and has also conducted Digiyatra trials. By using this facility, about 20 thousand passengers went through an experience of ease and security. Now passengers will give their complete details through the app which will be applicable for all flights.
