Ingredients for Kesar Kaju Pista Barfi
Cashew nuts – 1 cup
Pistachios – 1 cup
Saffron – 1/2 tsp
Mawa (Khoya) – 250 grams
Desi Ghee – as required
Sugar Bura – 1/2 cup (as per taste)

How to make Kesar Cashew Pista Barfi
To make Kesar Cashew Pistachio Barfi, first put 2 tbsp ghee in a pan and add cashews and pistachios and roast both for 2 minutes. After that take them out in a vessel. Now grind cashews and pistachios finely with the help of a mixer. Now put mawa in another pan and fry it. Fry the mawa till it becomes light golden in color. After this, turn off the gas and take out the mawa in a vessel and keep it to cool down.

When the mawa remains slightly hot, add cashew, pistachio powder and sugar powder and mix it well with the help of both hands. Mash this mixture well so that the mixture becomes soft. It may take up to 5 minutes for the mixture to become soft. After this, take a plate or tray and lubricate it by applying desi ghee on its bottom. After this, pour the mixture in the tray and spread it in equal proportion all around.

When the mixture spreads well in the tray, leave it for 1 hour to set. After this, cut it with the help of a knife by giving it the desired shape. Finally garnish the barfi by adding fine pieces of cashew, saffron and pistachios. Tasty Kesar Kaju Pista Barfi is ready for the guests.
