Jaya Ekadashi – 1 February 2023 (Wednesday)
According to Hindu calendar, Ekadashi date of Shukla Paksha of Magh month is called Jaya Ekadashi. This year Jaya Ekadashi is on the first day of the month of February i.e. on February 1st. Jaya Ekadashi is considered very sacred. Lord Vishnu is worshiped on this day and a fast is observed. It is believed that if a fast is observed on this day, it destroys all the sins of a person. Not only this, a person never has to go into a vampire or ghost vagina. After death the way to his salvation opens.
Pradosh Vrat – 2 February 2023 (Thursday)
Pradosh Vrat is specially kept for Mahadev Shiva and Parvati. There is a tradition of worshiping Shiva-Parvati on this special day. This year Pradosh Vrat is on 2 February.
