New Delhi. If any information is wrongly recorded in your Aadhaar card and you want to get it corrected, then now is the right time to get this work done for free. In view of the convenience of the people, the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has made the update in Aadhaar card free for some time. Now no money will have to be paid for updating Aadhaar online. At the same time, if you go to the Aadhaar center and do this work, you will still have to pay Rs 50. Aadhaar can be updated online for free from March 15 to June 14, 2023. UIDAI is also appealing to Aadhaar card holders who are more than 10 years old to update their details.

Under the Digital India Initiative of UIDAI, you can update the Aadhaar document for free on the myAadhaar portal. You can get the Aadhaar card revalidated by putting ID proof and proof of address (PoI/PoA) on the portal.

You can update some things online in your Aadhaar (Aadhaar Online Update), while for some you have to provide offline documents. You can update name, gender, date of birth, address and language online. Your mobile number must be linked with Aadhaar for online updation.
