Gold-Silver Price Today: Fall in gold prices in Meerut, silver skyrocketed, know today’s price
Vishal Bhatnagar / Meerut. There is a relief news for the consumers thinking of buying gold and silver jewelery for the wedding season. On Sunday, the rate of 24 carat gold fell by Rs 150 in the Meerut bullion market, after which the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold here has gone up to Rs 61,900. Whereas, the price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold is Rs 56,741, 18 carat gold is Rs 46,425, 14 carat gold is Rs 36,108.
Let us tell you that on May 27, the price of 22 carat gold was Rs 56,869, 18 carat gold was Rs 46,537 and 14 carat gold was Rs 36,195. On May 26, 22 carat gold was priced at Rs 57,108, 18 carat gold at Rs 46,725 and 14 carat gold at Rs 36,341 per 10 grams.
However, there has been a jump in the rate of silver. In the Meerut bullion market, the price of silver has increased by Rs 450 to Rs 72,050 per kg on Sunday. On the other hand, on May 27, a decrease of Rs 200 was registered in the price of silver and silver reached Rs 71,600 per kg.
Let us tell you that, due to the custom duty imposed on the rate of gold and silver every day, there is a change in the price of both the precious metals. Rajkumar, a bullion merchant from Meerut, says that after a week, there will be an increase in the prices of gold and silver.
