Vinod Maheshwari, Uttar Pradesh convenor of Lucknow Mahanagar Sarafa Association and All India Jewelers and Goldsmiths Federation, told News18 Local that this is the effect of the budget. Due to the increase in customs duty on gold and silver, there has been such a huge jump in the price of gold. On such a huge jump in the price of gold, Adish Jain, senior vice president of the Chowk Sarafa Association, has considered the budget as the biggest reason for this.

The price of silver also increased on Thursday
The chairman of Lucknow Mahanagar Sarafa Association told that the price of silver is still less than the all-time high record. Now the rate of silver is around 73 thousand rupees per kg by applying GST, which went up to 78 thousand rupees after the Corona period. Many experts say that this year the rate of gold can reach 62 thousand to 65 thousand rupees per 10 grams and the price of silver can reach 90 thousand rupees per kg.
