Government’s big statement on PM Kisan Yojana, said on increasing the money of farmers…

New Delhi. The Central Government has told in Parliament that there is currently no plan to increase the amount of assistance under the Pradhan Mantri Kisa Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN). The center provides financial assistance of Rs 6,000 every year to eligible farmers. This help is given in installments of Rs 2000-2000 every four months. This scheme was started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in February 2019. However, it was considered effective only from December 2018.

When the question was asked in Parliament whether there is any proposal to increase the amount under the Prime Minister’s Kisan Samman Nidhi, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said, “At present there is no such proposal.” Till now 12 installments of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana have been deposited in the accounts of the farmers. Since the inception of this scheme, there have been many changes in the rules of the scheme.

e-KYC is also mandatory
Farmers can complete KYC for PM Kisan in two ways. The KYC process can be completed online from the comfort of your home through the official website of PM Kisan. Apart from this, farmers can also get their KYC done by visiting their nearest Common Service Center (CSC). The point to note is that if the farmer himself does e-KYC through OTP, then you will not have to pay any money, whereas if you go to the Common Service Center and get e-KYC done, then he will have to spend a few rupees for it.
