Shukdev ji says – Parikshit! The Lord is always under his devotees. They say that my simple devotees have kept me in their love. I am the only refuge of my dear devotees. Therefore, I want my devotees more than myself and Goddess Lakshmi.

Taptarayvinashaya Srikrishnaya Vayanum:
Revered readers of Prabhasakshi! Let us dive into the Bhagwat-Katha-Gyan-Ganga and get rid of the worldly movement and make this human life successful.
In the previous issue we read how the Lord saved his dearest devotee Ambareesh from the wrath of Rishi Durvasa and also gave the message that nothing can harm a devotee of God. God protects his devotee in every way.

Come ! Let’s move on to the next story–
Param Hans Shri Shukdev Ji Maharaj says to Parikshit, O Parikshit! When sage Durvasa was freed from the heat and anguish of Sudarshan Chakra and his mind became healthy, he started praising King Ambareesh by giving him many excellent blessings.

Durvasa ji said- Blessed are the devotees of God! Today I have seen the glory of the loving devotees of God.
Hey Rajan! I have committed such a big crime for you, yet you are wishing me well. Oh my lord Ambareesh! You are a devotee head, your heart is full of compassion. You did me great favor, you saved my life by forgetting my guilt.
King Ambareesh grabbed Durvasa’s feet and requested – Maharaj! Don’t shed the Ganges like this. First go and get prasad so that I can also pass. Durvasa ji asked, so have you not eaten yet? Sir, I had invited you. How could you find it without getting it first? Durvasa ji said – Ram-Ram has become a disaster. I was thinking that you are sitting after receiving prasad. In this way Ambareesh ji sat hungry and thirsty for a year in hospitality.
King Ambareesh with great respect brought all kinds of food items worthy of the guest and lovingly served food to Durvasa ji. Durvasaji was satisfied after eating. Now he said respectfully – O Rajan! Now you eat too.
Hey Rajan! You are the most loving devotee of God. I am extremely pleased and grateful by your darshan, touch, conversation and hospitality which orients the mind towards God. The angels of heaven will sing praises of this bright character of yours again and again. This most holy earth will also continue to chant your most virtuous glory.

Having said this, Durvasaji, praising the virtues of King Ambareesh, set out on a journey from the sky to the Brahmaloka, which is attained only by selfless action.

Shukdev ji says – O Parikshit! When Durvasaji left, Maharaj Ambareesh took the holy food left over from his meal as food. Ambareesh ji felt very sad thinking that Durvasa ji had to suffer because of him.
Shukdev ji says – After this King Ambareesh left the burden of governance on his sons like himself and went to the forest. There he became free from this world by worshiping the Lord.

Shukdev ji says – Parikshit! The Lord is always under his devotees. They say that my simple devotees have kept me in their love. I am the only refuge of my dear devotees. Therefore, I want my devotees more than myself and Goddess Lakshmi. I cannot think of any way to leave the devotees who have come to my refuge after renouncing their brethren and all pleasures and luxuries. Therefore we should never disrespect the devotees of God under any circumstances.
A very beautiful incident comes in Ramcharitmanas–
When Bharat ji was going to persuade Rama, Indra became frightened, thinking that with great difficulty Lord Rama had come to the forest. They will go to Bharat and spoil all the work, they should be stopped.
Dev Guru Brihaspati explained to Indra
Sunu Suresh Raghunath Subhau, my crime is not written.
The crime which Bhagat kar karhi, Ram rosh pavk ji ji jarahi.
Lokhun Vedas know history, this glory is known Durvasa.
Shukdev ji says – Parikshit!
One who remembers this holy character of King Ambareesh with sankirtana and reverence, he attains the supreme speed.
