Dehradun. Online booking of Helicopter Service for Kedarnath Dham in Uttarakhand will now be done through IRCTC. For this, devotees will have to register. Without online registration, there will be no booking of helicopter for Kedarnath Dham. Only those devotees who have done online registration will be able to book online helicopter for Kedarnath. Till now helicopter booking for Kedarnath Dham was done through Pawan Hans.
There will be an airport-like system on the helipad. The QR code of the ticket will be scanned before entry on the helipad and then the boarding pass will be issued. An MoU has been signed between Uttarakhand Civil Aviation Development Authority (UCADA) and IRCTC for ticket booking. The MoU was signed by C. Ravi Shankar, CEO of Ukada, and Sunil Kumar, Director General (IT), IRCTC, at the secretariat on Wednesday.
Booking of tickets will start in the first week of April.
IRCTC will open the portal for ticket booking in the first week of April. There will be an emergency quota of 200 tickets, but for this also registration will be mandatory. Maximum 6 tickets can be booked from one ID at a time. Maximum 12 tickets can be booked on one ID for group travel. This booking will start from 1st April.
6 lakh registrations for Char Dham Yatra
So far about 6 lakh registrations have been done for the Char Dham Yatra. The registration process started from 6th February. The doors of Kedarnath Dham will open for the devotees to visit on April 25 at 6.20 am.
Booking will start soon for online worship of Lord Badrinath and Kedarnath
Let us tell you that soon booking for online worship of Lord Badrinath and Kedarnath will be started in Uttarakhand. For this, the Badrinath Kedarnath Temple Committee has started preparations. Digitization of BKTC is to be done soon. BKTC President Ajendra Ajay says that the use of IT is being expanded. So that the system of giving darshan of devotees and offering donations can be made more transparent.
