Chaitra Navratri Havan Muhurta 2023
Havan is performed on Durga Ashtami and Mahanavami in Chaitra Navratri. On March 29, on the day of Durga Ashtami, Shobhan Yoga and Ravi Yoga have been formed. In the morning, Labh-Unnati Muhurta is from 06:15 to 07:48, Amrit-Sarvottam Muhurta is from 07:48 to 09:21 and Shubh-Uttam Muhurta is from 10:53 to 12:26. On the other hand, Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga and Ravi Yoga are made for the whole day on Mahanavami. You can perform Navratri Havan in the morning on Durga Ashtami and Mahanavami.

Method of Navratri Havan
In your home, on Durga Ashtami or Mahanavami, on whatever day Havan takes place, worship Maa Durga’s Mahagauri or Siddhidatri form early in the morning. After that do Navratri Havan. After Havan, it ends with Aarti. Make arrangements for Havan at the place of worship or in the courtyard of the house. Make an altar and place the Havan Kund there. After that keep all the havan ingredients like black sesame, rice, barley, cow’s ghee, lobhan, guggal, camphor, palash and sycamore bark, licorice root, Ashwagandha, Brahmi etc. together.

Now sit on a seat and put a handkerchief on your head. Keep dung cakes and camphor at the bottom of the Havan Kund. Then keep dry woods of mango, sandalwood, neem, bael and peepal. Then light the fire of Havan with the help of camphor and uppals. After that offer the Havan Samagri respectively while reciting the mantra.

Lastly, wrap the Rakshasutra on the dry coconut. Keep betel leaf, puri, kheer, sweets, fruits, betel nut, cloves etc. on it. Now place all the ingredients including coconut in the center of the Havan. Now at the end, do the aarti of Maa Durga.
