Ranchi. There is great news for the people of Jharkhand. Now it will be very easy to go to Srinagar from state capital Ranchi including Ramgarh, Patratu and Latehar. Actually, there is a plan to connect the train going from Ranchi to Jammu Tawi to Srinagar. Now the people of Jharkhand will also be able to travel to Jammu and Kashmir by train. Apart from this, the people of Jharkhand will be able to enjoy the world’s highest railway bridge (Chenab Bridge) on Chenab river in Jammu and Kashmir.

Recently, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav conducted the first trial run of the vehicle mounted on the track on the world’s highest railway bridge over Chenab river in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. This bridge will connect the valley with the rest of the country by January 2024.

35 meters higher than the Eiffel Tower
It is built at an altitude of 359 meters (1,178 ft) above the Chenab River. It is an arch bridge and is 35 meters higher than the Eiffel Tower. The length of the Chenab Bridge built in Jammu and Kashmir is 1315 meters and its construction cost is Rs 1400 crore. The special thing is that this bridge is 260 km. Will be able to withstand the wind blowing at the speed of per hour.

Chenab Bridge is capable of withstanding earthquakes and blasts
The bridge has been made of structural steel and will be able to withstand temperatures ranging from minus 10 degree Celsius to 40 degree Celsius. Chenab Bridge is the first such bridge in the country designed for blast load. This arc bridge reactor will be capable of withstanding an earthquake of magnitude 8 on the scale and can withstand a blast of 30 kg of explosives.

Currently a train from Ranchi to Jammu Tawi
It is noteworthy that there is only one train running from Ranchi, Ramgarh, Patratu, Latehar etc. to Jammu. The number of this train is 18309 (SBP JAT EXPRESS). This train departs from Ranchi at 5.30 pm and reaches Jammu after about 2 days at 2.25 pm. This train runs 4 days a week – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
