India’s ‘fastest’ electric car, measured the whole of India in one stroke, got ‘Fastest EV Drive’ award
New Delhi. Hyundai Ioniq 5 has been awarded the ‘Fastest EV Drive’ covering 7 Wonders of India. The Ioniq 5 is an electric SUV that was first introduced at the Auto Expo 2023. This is the second SUV of the company in India. The price of Hyundai Ioniq 5 e SUV starts from Rs. 44.95 lakh (ex-showroom).
Hyundai flagged off the EV race on November 18, 2022 at 11:30 am. The electric SUV covered 7 wonders of India including Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple), Taj Mahal, Khajuraho Temple, Nalanda, Sun Temple, Hampi and Gomateshwara Murti, covering a distance of 6458 kms. The yatra ended on December 9, 2022 at 4:00 pm at Gomateshwara Statue, Karnataka, which was confirmed on December 20, 2022.

Will get 3 color options
The EV is offered in 3 exterior color options which include – Gravity Gold Matte, Optic White and Midnight Black Pearl. Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV comes with ultra-fast charging capacity of 10% to 80% in just 18 minutes (using 350kw DC charger). It is equipped with a multi-charging system with 400V and 800V multi-charging to reduce waiting periods at charging stations. It is powered by a high-power battery of 72.6 kWh and offers the customers an ARAI range of 631 km.

Dimension
The wheelbase of the EV is 3,000mm and it measures 4635mm X 1890mm X 1625mm. Safety features on the vehicle include 6 airbags (driver and passenger, side and curtain), virtual engine sound system (VESS), electric parking brake (EPB), all 4 disc brakes and power child locks.
