New Delhi. NHI has launched NCDs (Non Convertible Debentures) on October 17 i.e. today to raise money through InvIT. NHI plans to raise Rs 1500 crore through NCDs. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari informed about the opening of a video share issue on Twitter on Monday. According to the video, you will get a return of 8.05 percent on investment in this. Let us tell you that you can choose from its maturity period of 13, 18 and 25 years. The issue will be listed on BSE and NSE.

To invest in NCDs, you need to invest at least Rs 10,000. After this you can invest more in multiples of 1000. 25 per cent of the issue has been kept reserved for retail investors. If you are willing to do it then you have time till 7th November. Note that even though its maturity period is 25 years, you are paid interest every 6 months. This interest will be 7.9 per cent but due to the half yearly payment, it will effectively increase to 8.05 per cent in one year. Its allotment will be on first come, first served basis.

Triple A Rated Debentures
This issue has got AAA rating from 2 different agency. Union Minister Nitin Gadkari had said about this issue a few days ago that it is a better investment option for the long term. On investing in InvIT, he said that it is managed by experienced people and ensures assured and stable cash flow. According to Gadkari, by investing in it, every Indian can contribute in building a self-reliant India.

How can you invest
You can invest in it through a broker through your demat account. Because it is listed in the stock market, so a demat account is necessary for investing in it. You can invest in these through brokerage apps like Grow, Zerodha. The asset will be allocated to you once the issue is closed. Keep in mind that any interest you get on this investment is taxed.
