Mumbai. The average fare in Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) has increased by up to 29% in the last three and a half years. This has been revealed in a survey by CREDAI-MCHI and data analytics company CRE Matrix. The survey said that compared to December 2018, the average monthly rent in over 80 micro-markets of MMR increased between 4 per cent and 29 per cent in August 2022.

MMR Property Rental Tracker Research examined trends in housing rentals for two-bedroom apartments in Grade-A structures in Mumbai, Palghar, Raigad and Thane that are not older than 7 to 8 years.

According to a report by Anarock in September, the capital value of luxury residential colonies in 7 major cities grew by 2-9 per cent, while the average monthly rent increased by 8-18 per cent in the past two years.
