Lord Vishwakarma is considered to be the original god of creation, who created golden history with his greatest deeds. In ancient texts, Vishwakarma has been called by the names of Prajapati, Aditvadev, Shilpi, Tridacharya etc. The incarnations of Vishwakarma have taken place in different eras and Manvantaras. The description of their incarnations is found in the gods, demons, Gandharvas, human beings etc.

One of these incarnations is “Bhaimen Avatar”. The Manas son of Brahma ji, Rishi Dharma Dev had eight children. Those who are called Ashtavasu. The eighth child of these Ashtvasu’s is the son of Shri Bhaumen Vishwakarma. His mother’s name was Vastri or also known as Angira and Bhuvana. Vishwakarma’s mother was the sister of Devguru Brihaspati and daughter of Rishi Angira. Vishwakarma is considered to be the Acharya and inventor of Shilpshastra. The capital of Dhankuber and the King of Sri Lanka was built by Vishwakarma only. The grand Indra city of Lord Indra which was situated on the Sumeru mountain was built by Vishwakarma only. The construction of Setubandh and Rameshwaram in Tretayuga was also done by the sons of Vishwakarma, Nal and Neel, which has also been praised by Lord Shri Ram.

From this it is clear that Vishwakarma is the founder of craft and architectural science and the god of creation and creation. Vishwakarma is one of the Vedic deities. He is said to be the creator of earth, water, living beings etc. Its glorious description is found in the Atharvaveda, in the Vata Satej Brahmins and in the Puranas. In the Samhita, he has been called the omniscient Prajapati. He is the creator Prajapati in the Shatapatha Brahmana. In the Mahabharata, Vishwakarma has been glorified as the great Shilp Shastri of the Gods and the Shilp Prajapati of the Swayambhuva Manvantara.

The word Vishwakarma has a very broad meaning. According to the Yajurveda, Vishwakarma means all the actions performed by whom, in this sense Vishwakarma is realized as the creator of the shringa. He built the Sudarshan Chakra for Lord Vishnu, Trishul for Shiva, Vijay for Indra and Pushpak Vimanas according to the wishes of Brahma, using new inventions, instruments and knowledge of the utility of solar energy. Which in modern language are called missile and Akashyaan respectively.

The specialty of the famous Pushpak Vimana built by him was that it could travel evenly on the ground floor in water and through the sky. Lord Vishwakarma is the only person in world history who is both the knower of fine and cultural arts and the creator of science and technology. It is said that Lord Vishwakarma has adorned Mother Lakshmi with ornaments. All the new constructions that took place from Treta Yuga to Mahabharata period were completed by Lord Vishwakarma only.

Lord Vishwakarma, who is the creator of the whole world, devoted to his goal, working for the benefit of the entire society, who has no difference in words and deeds, who has the ability to guide all the time, such Lord Vishwakarma is absolutely revered because of his creative power. Lord Vishwakarma inspires us with continuous practice, dedication and hard work.
