Ingredients for making cheese paste
Paneer cubes – 1 bowl
Onion chopped – 1
Cream – 2 tbsp
Grated paneer – 2 tbsp
Bay leaf – 1
Cinnamon – 1 inch piece
Green pepper – 1
Kasuri fenugreek – 1 tsp
Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
Cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
Garam masala – 1/4 tsp
Green coriander leaves – 2-3 tbsp
Butter – 2 tsp
Oil – 2 tsp

to puree
Tomato – 2-3
Garlic cloves – 2
Ginger – 1 inch piece
pod cardamom – 2
Cashew – 15-20
Cloves – 4-5
Water – 1 cup
salt – as per taste

Paneer Coated Recipe
To make paneer lababdar, first cut paneer pieces. After this, put tomatoes, cloves of garlic and ginger in a big vessel. Add pods of cardamom, cloves, cashews and a little salt to it, pour a cup of water over it and keep it on the gas to heat. Cover the vessel and cook for 10 minutes. So that the tomatoes become soft and mushy. After this, turn off the gas and cool the mixture and blend it into a smooth paste. After this keep it aside.
Now put butter and oil in a pan and heat it on medium flame. After melting the butter, add bay leaves, cinnamon, chillies and fenugreek seeds and fry till the aroma starts coming from the spices. After this, add finely chopped onions to it and cook till the color of the onions turns golden brown. After this add turmeric, coriander powder, cumin powder and chili powder to it, mix and sauté.

When the spices are well roasted, add the prepared tomato puree to it and mix well. After this cover the pan and let the puree cook for 10 minutes. Keep stirring the puree in between with a big spoon. It has to be cooked till the masala leaves the oil. After this add one cup of water and salt as per taste and mix well. After cooking for some time, add paneer cubes and grated paneer and mix it well.

Now once again cover the vegetable and let it cook on low flame for 5 minutes. With this, the paneer will absorb the gravy well. After this, turn off the gas and add 2 tbsp cream on top and mix. Then add garam masala and green coriander leaves and mix it. Dhaba Style Tasty Paneer Lababdar is ready for dinner. Serve it with roti, naan or rice.
