Milk Barfi Recipe: The Chandraghata form of Maa Durga is worshiped on the third day of Shardiya Navratri. Maa Chandraghanta is considered dear to milk products. In such a situation, to get the blessings of the mother, you can offer her Doodh Barfi. It is believed that by offering milk products, Maa Chandraghanta is soon pleased. Doodh Barfi is a very easy recipe and it does not take much time to make it. Milk barfi is also not harmful in terms of health.

Ingredients for Milk Barfi
Milk – 1 cup
Sugar – 3/4 cup
Milk powder – 2.5 cups
Desi Ghee – 1/4 cup
Pistachio Clipping – 3 tbsp

how to make milk barfi
To make milk barfi, first take a mixing bowl and add one cup of milk, three-fourths of sugar and mix it well. After mixing for some time, when sugar and milk are mixed well, then add milk powder to this mixture. After this, with the help of a spoon, keep mixing this ingredients till the milk powder mixes well with milk and sugar.
Now take a nonstick pan and put all this mixture in it and cook it on low flame. After some time, add one-fourth of the desi ghee to it and mix it properly with the help of a spoon. After this cook the mixture while stirring until it becomes thick. After 10-12 minutes the mixture will start leaving the pan. After this spread the mixture on a plate or tray with baking paper and spread it evenly.

After spreading the mixture evenly in a plate or tray, let it set for some time. After this, level it by pressing it gently. After this, put the pistachio shredding in it and press it gently. Now cover the tray and leave it to set for an hour. After the prescribed time, cut it into the shape of barfi with the help of a knife. Milk barfi is ready for Maa Chandraghanta. After making the barfi, you can also store it in an airtight container.
