Nita Ambani said in NMACC – We were trying for a long time, today we are feeling proud

New Delhi. The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Center (NMACC) was inaugurated in Mumbai on Friday. During this, artists, religious gurus, well-known personalities from the sports and business world were present. The opening ceremony was hosted by Reliance Foundation Chairperson Nita Ambani and her daughter Isha Ambani. Neeta Ambani also gave a speech on this occasion. In this speech, many important things based on India’s civilization, legality and culture were included. Overwhelmed by the support this center received from all over the world, Nita Ambani thanked all the guests present in the program from the bottom of her heart. He has said that it is a matter of great pleasure and honor for him. NMACC has been constructed in Jio World Gardens located in Bandra Kurla Complex.

Nita Ambani said in her speech, ‘Our culture has not only survived for thousands of years, but has also flourished. We are one of the oldest civilizations which is full of diversities. For Mukesh (Ambani) and me, NMACC is a dream come true. For a long time we had cherished a dream that India should be a world class cultural centre. Cinema and music, dance and drama, literature and folklore, art and craft, science and spirituality, all this is the intangible national wealth of India. We were trying for a long time to promote art and culture.

He further said, ‘Culture weaves the threads of our understanding, tolerance and respect, which bind communities and countries together. Culture brings hope and happiness to humanity. As an artist, I hope that this center proves to be an important place for art, artists and audiences. It is a center where artists can feel proud of themselves. We envision this hub to be home to the best of talent not only from big cities but also from smaller cities, towns and remote villages of the country. As long as we have a platform, a voice, we have the power to speak our mind and change the world. We want it to become such a center, which is a confluence of the trinity of art, culture and knowledge.

The chairperson of Reliance Foundation said, ‘When I performed on this grand theater stage today, I felt very elated. Even after being away from the stage for so many decades, I still feel the same energy that I used to feel when I was 6 years old. My first play in college was with a young talented actor named Firoz. As they say, life comes a full circle… I am very happy to have my friend Firoz here with me today as the first director of Natyashala.’

Nita Ambani further said, ‘My dear friends, before ending I would like to thank my family for reposing faith in me. I especially want to remember my father-in-law, Mr. Dhirubhai Ambani, who believed in women empowerment and encouraged me to think big. The gentleness and compassion of father Shri Ravindrabhai continues to guide me. I want to thank my mother, who is with us in the audience today. Their love, positivity, spirituality and hard work played a vital role in making me who I am today. My mother-in-law is my inspiration for continuity and she is also here today.

My strength is the love, support, and enthusiasm of my 6 children Isha, Anand, Shloka, Akash, Radhika and Anant. My 2 priceless grandsons – Prithvi, Adya Shakti and Krishna are the biggest joys of my life. Lastly, I would like to thank my husband Mukesh (Ambani), who always believed in my every dream, without which nothing would have been possible. Thank you for making the journey of life so beautiful. The most important thing is that we have the youngest population in the world. Today we are in the nectar of modern India. It is a glorious time to start a new chapter for a prosperous, strong and self-confident nation.
