Ingredients for making Paneer Besan Cheela
Besan – 2 cups
Paneer grated – 2 cups
Green chili – 3-4
Chaat masala – 1 tsp
Ajwain – 1/2 tsp
Green coriander chopped – 2-3 tbsp
Oil – as required
Salt – as per taste
How to make Paneer Besan Cheela
To make Paneer Besan Cheela for breakfast, first sieve the gram flour in a big bowl. After this, chop finely pieces of green chili and green coriander and put them in the gram flour and mix them well. After this, add carom seeds and chaata masala to the gram flour and mix it. Now add water little by little and prepare the batter of gram flour. Keep in mind that the batter should neither be too thick nor too thin.
Now grate the paneer and keep it aside in a vessel. After this, keep a nonstick pan/tawa to heat on medium flame. When the tawa is hot, pour some oil on it and spread it all around. After this, fill the gram flour solution in a bowl and put it in the middle of the pan. After this, with the help of a bowl, make cheela by making it round and round.

Now put grated cheese on top of the cheese and spread it all around. After this, press the paneer on the cheela with the help of a spoon and flip the cheela. Then roast it with oil on the other side. Roast the cheela till it becomes golden and crisp from both the sides. After this, take out the cheela in a plate. Similarly prepare paneer gram flour cheela from all the batter one by one. Now serve paneer gram flour with chilla chutney.
