  • 1 tsp soaked chana dal
  • 1 tsp soaked urad dal
  • 1 bowl peanuts
  • tsp mustard
  • 2-3 finely chopped green chilies
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • half a lemon
  • 3-4 tsp finely chopped coriander
  • name according to taste

How to make Peanut Rice

To make Peanut Rice, heat oil in a pan or wok. After that add mustard seeds to it. You can also use cumin. You can also add a pinch of asafoetida and 3-4 curry leaves to it. As soon as mustard seeds start crackling, add soaked chana dal and urad dal. Along with this, add peanuts and roast them well. After this, add boiled rice, finely chopped green chilies and lemon juice to the pan and mix.

Cook it on low flame for 1-2 minutes. You can also use lots of vegetables in it. After cooking, garnish with finely chopped green coriander. You can serve chutney or raita with it.
