New Delhi. There has been a big jump in the price of crude oil in the global market during the last 24 hours. Its effect was shown on the retail prices of petrol and diesel released on Sunday morning and today the retail rates of oil have changed in many cities. Government oil companies made petrol and diesel cheaper in the cities of NCR this morning and made it expensive in Lucknow. However, even today there has been no change in oil prices in metros like Delhi-Mumbai.

According to the rate released today, petrol has become cheaper by 31 paise to Rs 96.69 per liter and diesel by 28 paise to Rs 89.86 per liter in Gautam Buddha Nagar (Noida-Greater Noida). Apart from this, petrol is falling by 35 paise to Rs 96.23 a liter and diesel by 33 paise to Rs 89.42 a liter in Ghaziabad. On the other hand, in Lucknow, the capital of UP, petrol became costlier by 14 paise today and it was selling at Rs 96.58 a liter, while diesel has increased by 13 paise to Rs 89.77 a liter.

If we talk about crude oil, then in the last 24 hours, there is a big jump in its prices. During this, the price of Brent crude is seen increasing again towards $100. Brent crude has now reached $ 98.57 per barrel, while WTI is selling at $ 92.61 per barrel.

– Petrol in Delhi Rs 96.65 and Diesel Rs 89.82 per liter
– Petrol in Mumbai Rs 106.31 and diesel Rs 94.27 per liter
– Petrol in Chennai Rs 102.63 and diesel Rs 94.24 per liter
– Petrol in Kolkata Rs 106.03 and diesel Rs 92.76 per liter

Rates changed in these cities
In Noida, petrol has become Rs 96.69 and diesel Rs 89.86 per liter.
Petrol in Lucknow has become Rs 96.58 and diesel Rs 89.77 per liter.
Petrol in Patna has become Rs 107.59 and diesel Rs 94.36 per liter.
Petrol in Ghaziabad has become Rs 96.23 and diesel Rs 89.42 per liter.

New rates are released every morning at 6 o’clock
Petrol and diesel prices change every day at 6 am. The new rates are applicable from 6 am onwards. After adding excise duty, dealer commission, VAT and other things to the price of petrol and diesel, its price becomes almost double of the original price. This is the reason why the prices of petrol and diesel appear so high.
