Aloo Tamatar Ki Sabji Recipe: Pitru Paksha 2022 has started. According to the beliefs, onion-garlic is avoided during the days of Pitru Paksha. Vegetables are not made without onion-garlic in most of the houses. However, a delicious vegetable can be made without onion and garlic too. Today we are going to tell you an easy recipe to make potato-tomato curry without onion and garlic. With its help, you can also maintain the taste of your food.
To make potato-tomato curry without onion, only onion and garlic are not used, all other ingredients remain same. If you have not made vegetable without the use of onion and garlic till now, then we are telling you an easy way to make delicious potato-tomato curry.

Ingredients for making Aloo-Tomato Sabzi
Potato boiled – 4-5
Tomato – 3-4
Green chili – 3-4
Turmeric – 1/4 tsp
Red chili powder – 1 tsp
Coriander Powder – 1 tsp
Ginger chopped – 1/2 tsp
Asafoetida – 1 pinch
Dry red chili – 2-3
Oil – 1 tbsp
Salt – as per taste
How to make Potato-Tomato Sabzi
To make delicious potato-tomato curry without onion-garlic, first boil the potatoes. After this, take off the peel of the potato and cut it into one-inch pieces and keep them in a bowl. After this, cut the tomatoes from the middle and remove the seeds and then wash them and keep them. After this, take a mixer jar and grind it by adding chopped tomatoes, green chillies, ginger.
Now put oil in a pan and heat it on medium flame. When the oil becomes hot, add cumin seeds and dry red chilies and temper it. After this, add asafoetida, turmeric and coriander powder to the oil and fry it while mixing it well with a spoon. After frying for a while, add the prepared tomato paste to the spices. After adding salt as per taste, fry the gravy well.

After frying the gravy on high flame for 2-3 minutes, when the oil starts appearing on the top, then add chopped boiled potatoes to it. Mix the potatoes well with the gravy with the help of a spoon. If you want to make juicy vegetable then add water as per requirement and salt as per taste. After this cover the vegetable and cook for about 10 minutes. Keep stirring the vegetables in between and then turn off the gas. Your delicious potato tomato curry is ready.
