The 13th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme) has also come in the bank accounts of the farmers. 8 crore 2 lakh farmers have received Rs 16,800 crore in the 13th installment. But, the money for the 13th installment has not come in the bank accounts of some farmers associated with the scheme. One of the reasons for this is the farmers not getting the EKYC done for their PM Kisan account. The government has made it mandatory to get eKYC done. Without this, the government will not send money to the bank accounts of the farmers.

Getting EKYC done for PM Kisan Yojana is not a difficult task. Still many farmers have not completed this important task. Such complaints were coming to the government that some ineligible people are also taking advantage of this scheme. To prevent fraud in the scheme, the government has taken strict steps and made eKYC mandatory. Farmers can do this work in minutes from their smartphones while sitting at home. Apart from this, they can also get eKYC done by visiting the Common Service Center.

If the farmer’s mobile number is linked to Aadhaar card, then he can do eKYC (PM Kisan Kyc Online) of PM Kisan account sitting at home. It is necessary to link the mobile number with Aadhaar because OTP will come on the registered mobile number only, due to which the e-KYC process will be completed. This is the method of eKYC from OTP.

• Go to the PM Kisan website https://pmkisan.gov.in/.
• Then click on the e-KYC tab under ‘Farmers Corner’.
• On the page that will open, give the information of Aadhaar number and click on the search tab.
• After this OTP will come on your registered mobile number.
• Then click on submit OTP and submit by entering OTP.
• Your eKYC process is complete.

KYC can also be done on CSC
The farmer can get PM Kisan e-KYC done through biometric method by visiting his nearest Common Service Center (CSC). Aadhaar card and registered mobile number are also needed for this work at the Common Service Center. A fee of Rs 17 (PM Kisan E-KYC Fee) is charged for e-KYC at the Common Service Center. Apart from these, CSC operators also charge a service charge ranging from Rs 10 to Rs 20.
