New Delhi. The central government runs many schemes to make farmers financially empowered. PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is one such ambitious scheme which is run to provide financial help to the farmers. Under this, the government transfers an amount of Rs 6,000 every year to the bank accounts of farmers. This amount is given in three installments of Rs.2000 each at an interval of four months.
Under this scheme, the government has transferred 12 installments of Rs 2000 each to the bank accounts of farmers. Last month, the central government released its 12th installment. Among those who have taken advantage of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, there are some people who have taken the wrong advantage of it. But the government has now become conscious about such people. The government has started recovering money from people who are not eligible for this scheme.
Government issued notice to ineligible people
This time due to the verification of Bhulekhs, the number of farmers fulfilling the eligibility of this scheme has come down. About 2 crore people who are taking advantage of this scheme wrongly have been excluded from this scheme. The government is issuing notice to such people involved in this scheme who do not fulfill its eligibility. In this, the farmers have been asked to return the amount taken so far. Money was released to 10 crore farmers in the 11th installment of PM Kisan Yojana. Whereas in the 12th installment, money has been released to only 8 crore farmers.

These people cannot take advantage of PM Kisan Yojana
Only one person from a farmer family can register in this scheme. To take advantage of this scheme, it is necessary for the farmer to have land in his own name. If a farmer cultivates someone else’s land on rent, then he does not get the benefit of this scheme. On the other hand, if any member of the family is in a government job, then they are also not considered eligible to register in this scheme.
