PM Modi’s gift to these 3 states of the country, 3 new AYUSH institutes will open
New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to give a big gift to 3 states of the country. Announcing on Tuesday, Union AYUSH Minister Sarbananda Sonowal said that along with promoting AYUSH medical practices globally, the people of the country are also going to get 3 big medical institutions in this area. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to dedicate this institute to the nation on 11 December. These include All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), Goa, National Institute of Unani Medicine (NIUM), Ghaziabad and National Institute of Homeopathy (NIH), Delhi.
According to the Ministry of AYUSH, these satellite institutes will further strengthen international collaboration with research and facilitate affordable AYUSH services to a large population. The Union AYUSH Minister informed that the 9th World Ayurveda Congress (WAC) is going to be organized in Panjim, Goa from 8 to 11 December. In this, the scientificity, efficacy and potential inherent in the AYUSH system will be put forward.
Sarbananda Sonowal said, “The establishment of these institutes is in line with the Prime Minister’s vision of expanding infrastructure and human resources and promoting research in traditional systems of medicine. Through these institutions, the Government of India will further strengthen its capabilities to provide affordable and better health facilities to every citizen and region of the country. With the establishment of these three National Institutes of AYUSH, 400 additional seats will be added for UG-PG and doctoral students in Ayurveda, Homeopathy and Unani.

AIIA Goa will be a better option for studies
All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), Goa will work to provide the highest quality facilities for UG-PG and Post Doctoral streams in the aspects of education, research and patient care services through Ayurveda system of medicine. It will be developed as a wellness hub of Ayurveda promoting Medical Value Travel (MVT). Along with this, this institute will serve as a model center for achieving educational and research related objectives and for international-national cooperation.
National Institute of Homeopathy will be like this
National Institute of Homeopathy (NIH), Delhi is the first of its kind in North India to develop Homoeopathic system of medicine and provide health care facilities. It will work to mainstream and integrate AYUSH health services with modern medicines. Along with this, this institute will encourage research and development (R&D) and innovation and develop nationally reputed institutes.
Unani Medical Institute will be the first institute
The National Institute of Unani Medicine (NIUM), Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, will be a satellite center of the existing National Institute of Unani Medicine, Bangalore. This will be the first such institute in northern India and will provide healthcare services to patients from Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and other states of India as well as foreign nationals under MVT.
The Prime Minister will attend the celebrations of the 9th World Ayurveda Congress (WAC) on December 2022. The Ministry of AYUSH is collaborating to organize the WAC at Panjim, Goa and will showcase the scientificity, efficacy, potential of AYUSH systems and medicines at a global level. Various activities are being planned in this episode and celebrities associated with AYUSH world are also participating in various discussions, presentations etc. on a large scale.
