Today we are going to tell you the recipe of making Onion Bhindi. This tasty vegetable is very easy to make and its taste is liked by adults as well as children. Onion ladyfinger can also be kept in children’s tiffin.
It does not require much effort to make onion okra curry. It can be easily prepared with spices available at home. Onion Bhindi can be eaten for lunch or dinner at any time.

Ingredients for Onion Bhindi
Bhindi – half kilo
Onion – 2
Ginger grated – 1 tsp
Cumin – 1 tsp
Red chili powder – 1/2 tsp
Turmeric – 1/2 tsp
Oil – 3 tbsp
Salt – as per taste

How to make Onion Bhindi
To make Onion Bhindi, first wash the ladyfinger and wipe it well with a cotton cloth, after that cut one-inch long pieces of lady’s finger. Now take onion and cut it into thin long pieces. After this, put oil in a pan and keep it for heating. When the oil becomes hot, add cumin seeds and splutter for a few seconds. After this add chopped onion and grated ginger and fry.

Fry the onion and ginger spices until the onion becomes light brown and soft. After this, add okra and mix it well with the help of a ladle and let it cook for 1-2 minutes. After this mix it by adding red chili powder, turmeric and salt as per taste. Now cover the pan and cook the bhindi curry for 4-5 minutes. Keep stirring the bhindi in between. When the bhindi becomes very soft, then turn off the gas. Delicious Onion Bhindi is ready. Serve it in lunch or dinner.
