Rates of bars started climbing again, house construction became expensive, check latest price

New Delhi. Due to the increase in demand, the prices of bars have started rising once again. After reaching a record high in April, baria prices started declining in June and by mid-July, prices had come down by about Rs 4,500 a tonne. Market experts say that due to low demand in the monsoon season, the prices of other building materials had fallen significantly. Now with the gradual commencement of construction activities, the rates of other materials including bars are increasing.

Let us tell you that the prices of bars in the country had reached the highest level in the month of April and in many cities of the country, the price of bars had gone up to Rs 85 thousand per tonne. Then in June there was a steep fall in prices and the rate went up to Rs 45 thousand per tonne. At the end of June, the rates of bars started climbing again. After this, the prices of bars declined after July 10. By the end of July, the rates of bars came down to Rs 59,000 a tonne.

What is the rate of the bar?

According to Ayronmart, a website that tracks the price of bars in the country, currently the cheapest bars in the country are available in Durgapur and Kolkata in West Bengal. Here its rate is Rs 51,000 per ton. On the other hand, the price of bars in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh is the highest in the country and here it is Rs 59,000 per tonne.

The price of baria in Mandi Gobindgarh, Punjab is Rs 58,100. The price of baria in the country’s capital Delhi was Rs 57,300 per tonne on August 13, 2022. The price of baria in Ghaziabad, UP is Rs 55,800 per tonne. 53,000 in Raipur in Chhattisgarh and Rs 52,000 per ton in Raigarh. In Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, bars are available for Rs 55,000. The price of baria in Bhavnagar, Gujarat is Rs 56,500 per tonne.

Baria is selling at Rs 56,100 in Goa, Rs 55,800 in Indore in Madhya Pradesh, Rs 56,200 in Jalna in Maharashtra and Rs 56,600 in Mumbai. In Rajasthan’s Jaipur, the price of baria is Rs 56,100 per tonne, while in Rourkela, Orissa it is getting Rs 53,000 per tonne. The price of bars is being sold at Rs 57,000 per tonne in Chennai in Tamil Nadu and Rs 53,300 per tonne in Nagpur, Maharashtra.
