Noida. A decision of the Supreme Court may increase the difficulties of flat buyers in Noida. The Supreme Court has withdrawn its order of 2020, in which a lower interest rate was fixed for builders in cases of payment of dues of Noida and Greater Noida authorities. With this decision, the restlessness has increased among the flat buyers.
Flat buyers are apprehensive that the builders will refuse to pay the dues of the authority, and due to this, there will be no registry of the flats of the buyers who have paid their full amount. The anger among buyers is increasing due to not getting the ownership rights even after paying the full price of their flat. The Flat Owners Federation has made preparations to take out a car rally against the three authorities for the registry.
Registry is not being done in Noida, Greater Noida
Advocate Naveen Dubey, the founder of the federation, told that the registration of flats is not being done in Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Development Authority areas here. The authority owes to the builders. He said, the buyers have paid the full cost of their flats, but the registration of the flat is not being done. The problem has been going on for a long time regarding this.

He said that after the order of the recent Supreme Court, now this problem is expected to increase further, in view of which it has been decided that once again the voice should be raised regarding the demand for registration. Dubey said that a campaign has been launched on social media for this. A meeting has also been organized in this regard on Sunday, in which the date of the car rally will be announced.
He said that three rallies will be held from Noida Extension, Greater Noida and Seven X Society. All the three rallies will simultaneously reach the Collectorate at Surajpur and a memorandum related to their demands will be handed over there.
Industrial Development Minister of UP gave assurance
Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh’s Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Nandi said in a statement issued to the media that flat buyers of Noida, Greater Noida Development Authority area should not panic after the order of the Supreme Court. He said that the interest of buyers and investors is paramount for the government. The state government will take all possible steps to register the flat buyers.
Nandi said that till now the government has given many opportunities to the builders. During the Kovid-19 period, the benefit of zero period was given, the interest was also waived, even after giving so much concession, the builders were not paying the dues. He said that the Noida Authority owes about Rs 20,000 crore to the builders and the Greater Noida Authority owes about Rs 9,190 crore.
