Share Market: Sensex jumps 322 points, Nifty closes above 17,900

Mumbai. On the first day of the trading week today, the market has hit a hat-trick of gains. Buying has also been seen in midcap and smallcap stocks. Today, buying has been seen in all the sector indices of BSE. Good buying has been seen in realty and IT stocks. Metal, auto and infra indices closed on the rise. At the end of trading, the Sensex closed at 60,115.13 with 321.99 points or 0.54 per cent. At the same time, Nifty closed at 17,936.35 with 103 points or 0.58 percent.

The market was closed on the green mark on Friday
In the last trading session, on Friday, the 30-share BSE Sensex closed at 59,793.14 with a gain of 104.92 points, or 0.18 per cent. At the same time, Nifty closed at 17,833.35 with 34.60 points or 0.19 per cent.

Industrial production figures for the month of July will be released today
The government will release the industrial production figures for the month of July on Monday evening. Factory output, measured on the basis of the Index of Industrial Production (IIP), grew 12.3 per cent in June this year. Quick Estimates of IIP are released on 12th of every month (or previous working date if 12th is a holiday) with an interval of 6 weeks.

Indian Bank brings 610 days special FD scheme
Indian Bank has come up with a special scheme of FD for the investors. The name of this scheme is IND Utsav 610 (IND UTSAV 610). The maturity period in this special FD scheme will be 610 days. On this special FD scheme, common people will get 6.10 percent, senior citizens 6.25 percent and super senior citizens will get 6.5 percent interest annually.
