New Delhi. The Indian stock market can make gains in the third consecutive trading session on Thursday. Except for the first trading session this week, the market closed with gains on both the remaining days.

In the previous session too, the Sensex closed at 61,511 with a gain of 92 points, while the Nifty climbed 23 points to close at 18,267. In the early trade on Wednesday, the Sensex had gained about 450 points. Experts say that the sentiment of domestic investors has also remained positive due to the ongoing boom in the global market and they are continuously insisting on buying. This trend is expected to continue further in the market and soon the Sensex will cross the figure of 62 thousand.

Boom in America and Europe
The US central bank Federal Reserve has indicated a slight increase in interest rates, after which investors are looking enthusiastic and the US stock market is showing a steady rise. In the previous session too, the S&P 500 closed up 0.59 per cent, while the Dow Jones gained 0.28 per cent, while the NASDAQ closed up 0.99 per cent.

On the lines of America, European markets also closed on the green mark in the last trading session. Germany’s stock exchange, which is included in the major stock markets of Europe, closed up by 0.04 per cent in the previous session, while the French stock market managed to gain 0.32 per cent. Similarly, the London Stock Exchange also showed a jump of 0.17 per cent.

Rise in Asian markets
Most of the stock markets of Asia are trading on open and green mark on Thursday morning. The Singapore Stock Exchange is trading at a gain of 0.47 percent, while Japan’s Nikkei has managed to gain 1.31 percent. Taiwan’s stock market is also on a rise of 0.92 percent today, while Hong Kong’s stock market is showing a rise of 0.50 percent. The Kospi market of South Korea is trading at a gain of 0.58 per cent.

Foreign investors have continuously withdrawn money from the Indian capital market this week, due to which there is pressure on the market. In the last trading session also, foreign institutional investors withdrew money from the market by selling shares worth Rs 789.86 crore. However, during the same period, domestic institutional investors also bought shares worth Rs 413.75 crore.
