Stock Market Holiday: Indian stock market will be closed tomorrow, this year’s last holiday

Trading on NCDEX will be closed in both the sessions tomorrow.

New Delhi. The Indian stock market will remain closed tomorrow i.e. on Tuesday, November 8, on the occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti. Tomorrow neither Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) will open nor will there be trading on National Stock Exchange (NSE). As per the information available on the BSE website, trading on BSE and NSE will be closed for the entire session on 8 November 2022.

According to the list of market holidays, there will be no business in Equity Segment, Equity Derivatives Segment, Commodity Derivatives Segment on Tuesday. This will be the last holiday of this year on BSE and NSE.

Commodity derivatives segment and India’s largest commodity exchange Multi Commodity Exchange of India (MCX) will remain closed for the first part of trading (between 9 am to 5 pm) on November 8. Trading will take place in the evening session from 5 pm to 11:30 pm. Trading on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) will be closed in both the sessions tomorrow. According to the trading calendar in this calendar year, the stock market is closed for 13 days due to business holidays. The November 8 holiday will be the last holiday of 2022.

There is no business on Saturday-Sunday
Saturday and Sunday are weekly holidays in Indian stock markets. Apart from this, on some other days also it does not turn off. This usually happens only on any festival or national festival. Information about stock market holidays can be obtained from the website of BSE.

There was a jump in the stock market today
Today, i.e. on Monday, 7 November, the Indian stock markets have closed in the green mark. The BSE Sensex closed at 61,185.15 with a gain of 234.79 points. Nifty50 also closed at 18,202.80 with a jump of 85.60 points. Today Bank Nifty jumped 428.25 points and closed at 41,686.70. Sensex opened sharply today. Once it took a dive of 400 points from today’s high. But, by the time the market closed, it recovered and closed with an edge.
