Mumbai. The Indian stock market has also seen a decline in the first trading session of the week. The sell-off in the last session of last week continued today and the Sensex-Nifty came down as soon as the profit-booking opened.
The Sensex opened and started trading at 58,747 with a loss of 94 points this morning, while the Nifty opened with a gain of 8 points at 17,540 and started trading. Global market pressure was shown in the market from the beginning and due to continuous selling, the Sensex started trading at 58,759 with a loss of 82 points at 9.28 am, while the Nifty fell 44 points to 17,487.

Investors have been selling stocks like UltraTech Cement, Cipla, Asian Paints, Maruti Suzuki and Titan Company since inception today. Due to continuous profit-booking, the stocks of these companies came in the category of top losers. At the same time, there is continuous buying in the shares of companies like Bajaj Finserv, ONGC, Infosys, SBI Life Insurance and HDFC Life, due to which these stocks have joined the list of top gainers today.
